Abstract:A VHS of the 1979 anime version of "Anne of Green Gables". It was directed by Isao Takahata and the scene setting and layout was done by Hayao Miyazaki who would later go on to found Studio Ghibli together. The VHS was distributed by Bandai.
Abstract:A first day cover (FDC) depicting Cavendish Post Office at the time that L.M. Montgomery's grandmother, Lucy MacNeill, was postmistress. Martha Shea was the inspiration for the portrait of Anne of Green Gables on the stamp. The stamp was released to commemorate L.M. Montgomery's 100th birthday.
